On a cold day in Calgary

we burn to the ground
in a cement cemetary
please tell me you'll burn me too
when i die, when i die

This tree stood still
And we sat and waited
for the kill, underneath
How the apple fell
And how loud went the bell
Siren sounds came sounding out

Something regal went by
And quickly caught your eye
Is it sad to have seen purple
Without it ever calling your name?

We'd sit in your apartment
While the revolution was outside
Worlds went by your window
Where all would be deified

we burn to the ground
in a cement cemetary
please tell me you'll burn me too
when i die, when i die
